Vintage Lounge has moved to Music You (Possibly) Won't Hear Anyplace Else

That is to say, all future VL-style posts will be found at my other blog. The main reason--I can't keep two blogs going. I thought I could, but I can't.

MY(P)WHAE can easily "absorb" this blog. And I have plenty more vintage lounge music to post, so this blog is anything but dead. However, I can't keep it moving at the speed it needs to be moving. Partly, this is because the material in question hasn't proven to be as easy to find as I thought (though it's out there--believe me). And because it takes longer to edit, as a rule. We're talking relatively quiet music (as opposed to, say, She Loves You or Be True to Your School), as well as music that often shows up shellac, 10" LPs, or early 45s--which means noisy surfaces and/or pinched fidelity. Quiet music + noisy surfaces=an editing challenge.

Anyway, please turn to MY(P)WHAE for all future posts of vintage lounge music. Thanks for the support, and I hope to see you at the other blog!

I'm going to miss this blog, Lee. I hope you feature "Lounge"-type material frequently on MY(P)WHAE.

Thanks for all that you've made available up to the present!

So, will you call the new site Vintage Music You Possibly Won't Hear Anyplace Else...? I've always enjoyed both of your sites Lee. Thanks again for the great tunes and music trivia (you are a true encyclopedia).

Hi Lee, I'll always be a Vintage Lounge-Lizard-Listener and will know when a lounge selection shows up on my(p)whae, just by the music!
Nice Selections!

Just a show of confidence. I'm here! And I ADORE your blog. I've been searching for a blog where I can post about my experiences with light music over the years.

So cheers!

I'll be back!

Great post! Seeing as you know vintage music so well, I thought I'd introduce you to LuxuriaMusic.com, a great place to "Tune In. Turn On. Make Out"
